  Well, I don't know about other hairdressers there, but the lady who cut my hair did it in 10 minutes. Overall, 17 pounds for a very average job and I had to finish trimming it myself at home. The salon appears friendly until you pay.

• Hype Hair design - How cool !!!!

  The salon is under new management & ownership, the fresh new team have gelled well with some of the existing staff. Nicola, Sarah, Louise, Lisa, Hayley & Benn are all lovely. It is such a refreshing approach to having my hair done, friendly proffesional hairdressers, in a non-clinical surrounding gave me EXACTLY what i wanted... and more. BELIEVE THE HYPE!

• The best haircut you can get

  Over the years I've been to several hairdressers but Hype is the best ever! Not only can they provide unique haircuts but also are extremely creative with colour. I get bored easily with my hair and in the past I've found it difficult to find a stylist who can keep up with me! But in the two years or so I've been going there, Sharon has come up with a range of styles and colours... my hair has changed from black and bright red to coppers and now is streaked blonde with a dark underlay... and they're all her own ideas too, including the asymetric crop I've got now. Although all the stylists there can cater for anything from a simple trim to a whole new look, I would definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to look just that little bit different. Just do it! You won't regret it....

  Hype are the friendliest bunch, situated in a great location, have the best equiptment and knowledge, and use lovely products!!!!!
