It is amazing how the report submitted on 6/6/2009 exactly mirrors our experience with The Door Store. We ordered a window in March 2009 and were given an estimated delivery of 3 weeks. We didn't actually receive the window until the end of May 2009 after a catelogue of ignored phone calls, made up promises and delivery of completely the wrong window! Our kitchen project was severely delayed because of the complete lack of service from The Door Store and we are still attempting to obtain some kind of compensation. Several weeks in to the delays we were suddenly informed that the fault lay with the manufacturers, although we have no proof of this as yet.

I ordered a wooden door in mid April, which was to be delivered by the end of April and paid a deposit. When no one contacted me for three weeks, my wife rang them on several occasions to chase the door. On each occasion they had little knowledge of the order, were totally disinterested and unhelpful and never returned calls. It is now June and my building project has not completed because of their inability to deliver for 7 weeks. It has been impossible to talk to the manager, who is never available and does not return calls. I have now asked for a refund and wait to see if they will refund the deposit. Reviewcenter.com suggest there are others with similar experience.
