  We went for the lunch menu & I will never return. The starters were fine but the main courses were bland & unedible. We told the waiter but he shrugged and walked off without replying! They also charged £1.95 for stale prawn crackers & £3.90 for a bottle of sparkling water. Basicely it was a waste of money & this is the only restaurant I have ever left my dinner in!

• Upmarket chinese food

  China Blue has some really good dishes that are a step up from your usual take away fayre. It is a little on the expensive side so is not the sort of place we would go all the time. The main meals have reasonable sized portions although I do not I will bother with the side dishes again as you get a realatively small amount of food for the money. They decor is stylish with the tables placed a reasonable distance apart so that it does not feel too crowded, even when full. The staff are attentive and helpful. I would recommend China Blue if you like Chinese food and are after something a bit more special to a normal takeaway or takeaway / restaurant.

• Beautiful restaurant, great service & great food

  When asked for recommendations, we were given some great dishes in response. Nice atmosphere, good music and nice low lit room too. Although it may seem a little pricey at first , its worth it. Minor glitch on my behalf - so used to take away menus, was quite shocked with smaller selection, but there's definitely something there for everyone,
